Overseeing the engineering team, whose responsibility is to guarantee that all capital projects are technically sound and fully compliant with statutory requirements.
Diagnose and resolve routine valve malfunctions, including leaks, mechanical breakdowns, and signs of deterioration.
Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning processes.
Assist in assessing valve performance to confirm compliance with customer specifications.
Conduct regular evaluations of valves, including leak, pressure, and flow assessments, to ensure operational integrity.
Responsibilities include supporting the maintenance and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB, with a strong command of these tools to support data analysis, presentation development, technical drafting, and computational modeling.
A thorough knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards is essential.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.
Requires a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management specifically within the oil and gas sector.
