Overseeing the engineering team tasked with validating that all capital projects meet technical fitness standards and comply with statutory requirements.
Diagnose and resolve typical valve malfunctions, including leakage, mechanical breakdowns, and material degradation.
Assist with the dismantling and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and conditioning procedures.
Support evaluation of valve performance and verify compliance with customer specifications.
Conduct regular testing of valves, including leak, pressure, and flow assessments, to ensure operational integrity and compliance with standards.
Provide support for the upkeep and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Skilled in utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB proficiently.
A solid grasp of electrical codes and safety standards is essential for this role.
Requirements
Education requirements include a Bachelor of Science degree or its equivalent in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or Process Engineering.
A minimum of five to seven years of hands-on experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management within the oil and gas sector is required.
