Job Summary

The Medical Officer is tasked with delivering primary healthcare services, overseeing the wellness clinic, and upholding occupational health and safety protocols.

This position advances the organization’s health initiatives by providing preventive care, conducting medical consultations, and responding to emergencies.

Oversee and execute a full range of operational duties to ensure seamless daily functioning, including managing workflows, coordinating team efforts, and addressing any arising challenges with efficiency and precision. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting, while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align objectives, streamline processes, and achieve departmental and organizational goals. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to identify trends, recommend improvements, and implement corrective actions as needed. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment by promoting clear communication, accountability, and professional development opportunities for all team members.

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations of patients.

Provide medical assessments and interventions for a diverse range of health issues, injuries, and diseases to ensure optimal patient care and recovery.

Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.

Medications are prescribed, and patient responses are carefully monitored to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Execute essential medical and surgical interventions as needed.

Provide patients and their families with comprehensive information regarding medical conditions and available treatment options.

Ensure that all patient medical records are maintained with precision and kept current at all times.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional healthcare teams to facilitate and optimize patient-centered care coordination.

Remain updated on the latest medical standards and therapeutic approaches.

Provide initial medical intervention and care for urgent and emergency conditions, both medical and surgical, as required.

Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including STAT devices and ECG machines, with a clear understanding of their applications and functionalities.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage intricate cases effectively.

Compose thorough medical documentation, including detailed reports and comprehensive discharge summaries.

Deliver essential healthcare services to patients in need.

Provide care and support at designated wellbeing clinics as directed.

Comply rigorously with established medical protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and Medical Director.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines. Familiarity with project management tools and industry-specific regulations is essential.

Hold an accredited medical degree, such as an MBBS or its equivalent.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is a prerequisite for this position.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on clinical practice. This experience should encompass direct patient care, procedural competency, and evidence-based practice integration. The ideal applicant will demonstrate proficiency in diverse clinical settings, showcasing adaptability and expertise in managing complex patient scenarios.

Hold an active and unrestricted license to practice medicine.

Possesses robust clinical and diagnostic competencies, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in both areas.

Must possess expertise in advanced life support techniques and protocols.

Must possess strong proficiency in computer operations and software applications. Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with well-developed interpersonal capabilities.
