Job Summary:
Rayfield Medical Services Limited, a healthcare provider situated in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, is seeking a Cashier to oversee financial transactions and ensure precise record-keeping.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties to support organizational objectives, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Collect and document all payments made by patients and clients in a systematic and accurate manner.
Daily reconciliation and balancing of cash registers, ensuring accurate cash transactions and accounting for all discrepancies.
Accurately maintains transaction records and prepares financial reports to ensure precision and compliance with established standards.
As necessary, prepare and distribute receipts and invoices to ensure accurate documentation of financial transactions.
Ensuring adherence to established financial policies and procedures within the hospital setting is a critical responsibility of this role.
Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting, along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills are required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, as the role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in financial reporting, budget management, or data analysis is highly advantageous. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required for consideration.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cashiering or billing roles is required, with a strong preference for candidates with a healthcare background.
