JOB SUMMARY

Engage in thorough evaluations of structural and piping documentation to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.

Ensure the site mobilization work plan is thoroughly reviewed and its readiness for CTR (Critical Task Review) is confirmed, verifying that it is both robust and appropriately tailored to the requirements.

Verify that all construction outputs fully align with COMPANY-established standards and specifications.

To facilitate seamless collaboration with construction teams, ensuring that all construction activities proceed in a coordinated and efficient manner.

To assist the project engineer in developing the scope of work for any supplementary tasks.

Actively engage in all Project Technical meetings to ensure comprehensive involvement.

Monitor contractor activities closely to verify strict adherence to project specifications and contractual obligations.

The Package Manager receives regular updates regarding the advancement of Structural and piping-related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Follow-up Engineer conducts structural design evaluations and oversees adherence to project specifications and general requirements outlined in project documentation.

Coordinate with the contractor’s design team as necessary to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of any issues uncovered during site operations.

Oversee fabrication yard operations and site activities throughout installation, construction, outfitting, hook-up, and commissioning phases to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.

Collaborate effectively with internal team members across various sites to ensure seamless coordination of interface design and related initiatives.

Assess bids technically and develop technical recommendations for the Package Manager.

Provide follow-up on procurement activities, oversee construction progress, expedite critical tasks, and support pre-commissioning efforts as needed.

Thoroughly evaluate CONTRACTOR documents and provide feedback within a ten-business-day timeframe.

Proactively identify potential issues within their area of expertise and promptly notify the Package Manager to facilitate timely resolution.

Any observed deviations or alterations to the contractual scope of the basis of design must be promptly identified and formally documented.

Review and assess planning revisions, focusing on the critical path for discipline-specific tasks, while validating progress submissions for such activities and collaborating with the package manager.

Ensure the adequacy and competence of CONTRACTOR resources and organizational structure to successfully execute discipline engineering and procurement activities.

Craft thorough responses to every technical inquiry from CONTRACTOR and Project, focusing on delivering added value by reducing expenses while upholding stringent safety and quality benchmarks. This involves proposing viable solutions and promptly notifying the Package Manager of all developments.

Offer comprehensive support to the COMPANY Package Manager in processing derogation, exemption, and modification requests.

Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of Change Order Requests pertaining to the relevant discipline.

To engage in all audit-related tasks at the CONTRACTOR’s designated base and operational site.

Ensure seamless collaboration with Engineering and Construction contractors by actively engaging in discussions and proposing viable solutions.

To ensure successful project delivery, the role encompasses the full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Modification, and Commissioning processes. This comprehensive involvement spans from initial design and planning through to final implementation and activation.

Prepare on-site mark-ups to facilitate the creation of accurate as-built drawings.
