We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic CRS & History Teacher who demonstrates a strong commitment to student success and holistic development. The ideal candidate will be tasked with designing and delivering dynamic lessons in Christian Religious Studies and History, while fostering students’ intellectual growth, ethical values, and personal character.

Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks to ensure operational efficiency and organizational success. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with strategic objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvements. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance performance and compliance across departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, analyze data, and generate actionable insights for informed decision-making. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and staff, facilitating clear communication and fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards while mitigating risks and resolving complex challenges.

Deliver instructional sessions in strict adherence to established teaching methodologies, approved curricula, and institutional guidelines.

Employ students in the learning process of Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History through dynamic, student-focused instructional approaches to foster deep understanding and engagement.

Develop comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, projects, classroom activities, assessments, and examination materials that strictly adhere to established curriculum guidelines.

Evaluate students’ academic advancement and deliver constructive feedback regarding the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and educational plans.

Determine which students require specialized learning accommodations and collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to establish tailored support plans.

Enforce classroom discipline by implementing approved sanctions for minor infractions and refer significant disciplinary matters to the Sectional Head without delay.

Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the holistic development of students, encompassing their academic, moral, emotional, and social growth.

Accurately and promptly evaluate students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.

Continuously monitor and document students’ academic progress, behavior, and accomplishments, providing timely reports as required.

Develop and sustain proactive, transparent communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed about their child’s academic progress and overall well-being as needed.

Encourage students to embrace positive values, demonstrate ethical conduct, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and cultivate a sense of responsible citizenship.

Enhance teamwork, collaboration, and foster a supportive school environment to drive collective success and growth.

Actively engage in staff meetings, school-wide events, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities to foster collaboration and enhance school community involvement.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed.) with a specialization in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or a closely related field is required.

TRCN certification is required for this position, ensuring candidates meet the national standards for professional competence in the field.

A minimum of four years of secondary school teaching experience is required.

Possesses a solid understanding of the CRS (Christian Religious Studies) and History curricula, including key concepts, frameworks, and instructional methodologies. Demonstrates familiarity with educational standards, learning outcomes, and assessment practices specific to these subjects.

Able to effectively manage classroom dynamics and communicate with clarity and professionalism.

Capable of fostering both intellectual growth and character development in students.
