As a Backend Developer, your responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and optimizing server-side infrastructure, databases, and essential application logic that drive websites and software solutions. You will be tasked with ensuring these systems are scalable, secure, and performant. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to facilitate seamless communication between frontend components and external systems.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Server-Side Development involves crafting robust and streamlined server-side logic through the utilization of frameworks compatible with programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
Engineer scalable and well-documented RESTful or GraphQL APIs, focusing on robust architecture and seamless integration.
Design and implement robust data storage architectures, oversee database migrations, and enhance query performance through the utilization of SQL-based systems such as PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
Implement strong authentication and authorization protocols alongside data encryption to enhance system security. Continuously monitor server performance to identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks, ensuring minimal latency and optimal operational efficiency.
Partner effectively with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to seamlessly integrate user-facing components with server-side functionalities.
