Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Production Manager to supervise daily shop floor operations and enhance production efficiency within our aluminum extrusion facility.
As a leadership position, this role is dedicated to achieving established targets, enhancing operational processes, and rigorously maintaining safety and quality standards.
Oversee and execute key responsibilities encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational management to drive organizational objectives. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and performance metrics while fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Facilitate cross-functional communication, resource allocation, and process optimization to enhance efficiency and innovation across departments. Monitor progress, analyze outcomes, and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsible for managing and leading daily production activities across various shifts.
Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce equipment downtime and enhance overall operational efficiency.
To achieve production targets, focus on controlling waste and minimizing unit costs.
Oversee the organization of shift schedules, the strategic allocation of workforce resources, and the optimization of production line efficiency.
Enforce rigorous adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance protocols throughout the shop floor operations.
Collaborate closely with maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning departments to ensure cohesive operations and alignment across all functional teams.
Spearhead ongoing enhancement initiatives while ensuring strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Deliver tailored training and mentorship programs to operators, fostering skill development, improved performance, and heightened accountability.
Maintain accurate documentation, generate production reports, and update performance dashboards to ensure operational transparency and efficiency.
Monitor raw material usage and maintain precise inventory control to ensure efficient stock management.
Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably in project management or a related field. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with a demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related discipline is mandatory, and relevant certifications will be considered advantageous.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is required.
A minimum of five years of relevant experience in production supervision or plant operations, preferably within a manufacturing setting, is required.
Demonstrated expertise in enhancing output, reducing costs, and improving process efficiency through measurable results and strategic initiatives.
Proven practical expertise in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and additional lean manufacturing tools is essential.
Dynamic leadership capabilities, adept team coordination, and exceptional communication proficiency are essential.
Proficient in evaluating production data and deriving actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Proven expertise in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for candidates possessing experience in Odor, is required.
Strong preference is given to candidates who possess the ability and willingness to reside on-site in Aka.
