Oversee and execute a comprehensive array of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Duties include leading cross-functional teams, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, monitor performance metrics, analyze data to drive decision-making, and foster a collaborative work environment that enhances productivity and innovation.

Examine contractor electrical engineering deliverables and technical submissions for accuracy and compliance.

Responsible for conducting thorough inspections and assessments of electrical installations, such as substations, transformers, switchgear, and power systems, to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Design, installation, and maintenance of medium-voltage distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), cabling networks, lighting infrastructure, earthing systems, and lightning protection systems.

Perform on-site assessments and technical evaluations to verify adherence to approved plans, specifications, and project mandates.

Ensure project advancement aligns with established benchmarks while contributing specialized technical expertise to the certification of contractor payments.

Assess potential technical hazards, deviations from standards, and quality-related issues to ensure adherence to established protocols and specifications.

Develop comprehensive assurance reports and formulate strategic recommendations based on thorough analysis and evaluation.

As a candidate for this position, you must hold a degree in accounting or finance, and you should possess at least three years of relevant professional experience. Familiarity with GAAP and proficiency in Excel are essential, while knowledge of ERP systems and auditing practices would be advantageous. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team are critical requirements for this role. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are also necessary to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field is required.

Professional registration with a recognized body, including CORE, PE, Cent, or their equivalent, is required.

For the Associate Level, a minimum of six years of pertinent experience is required, while the Consultant Level necessitates a minimum of twelve years of relevant experience in industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in electrical systems encompassing high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) networks, substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution is required.

Possesses a comprehensive understanding of industry standards, including IEC, IEEE, and NFPA, among others.

Extensive involvement in consulting, Owner’s Engineer roles, EPC/EPCM projects, third-party inspections, project assurance, or technical audits will significantly enhance your candidacy.
