Job Summary
The Medical Officer oversees the delivery of essential healthcare services, administers the wellbeing clinic, and upholds adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
This position advances the organization’s health initiatives by providing preventive care services, conducting medical consultations, and administering emergency response protocols.
Oversee a broad range of essential responsibilities to ensure smooth operational workflows, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that align with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects, monitor progress, and address any challenges that may arise, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of results. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Additionally, provide leadership in budget management, resource allocation, and performance evaluation to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations of patients with meticulous attention to detail.
Provide medical evaluations and administer treatments for a wide array of health conditions, injuries, and diseases.
Design and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.
Prescribe medications as required and systematically evaluate patient responses to treatment plans.
Conduct standard medical and surgical interventions as needed.
Provide comprehensive information to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and available treatments.
Ensure all patient medical records are meticulously updated and maintained with precision.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of patient care services.
Keep abreast of the latest advancements in medical methodologies and therapeutic approaches.
Handle basic medical and surgical emergencies with proficiency and care.
Proficient in operating point-of-care diagnostic equipment, including STAT devices and ECG machines, is essential.
Foster a collaborative team effort in managing intricate treatment scenarios.
Prepare comprehensive medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.
Provide essential medical care and treatment to patients.
Provide care at designated wellness facilities as scheduled.
Ensure strict compliance with established medical protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and Medical Director.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably supplemented by a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in essential software tools and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently are mandatory. Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication in both written and verbal forms are essential. Must exhibit problem-solving acumen and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with industry regulations and standards is highly desirable.
Holds a Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) or an equivalent medical degree accredited by a recognized institution.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is an essential requirement for this position.
Clinical experience spanning five to seven years is required for this role.
Holds a current and unrestricted medical license to practice.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic evaluation.
Proficient in advanced life support techniques is essential.
Computer proficiency is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Demonstrates genuine empathy and compassion in interactions with patients, ensuring their emotional well-being is prioritized throughout their care journey.
