JOB SUMMARY

We are in search of a proficient and driven Solar Installation Officer possessing a minimum of two years of experience within the renewable energy industry. The successful applicant will oversee the installation, commissioning, and upkeep of solar photovoltaic systems tailored to residential, commercial, and/or industrial applications. This position demands robust technical expertise, meticulous precision, and the capacity to operate autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards, managing a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and workflow. Additionally, the role involves liaising with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects, analyzing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, and developing training programs to upskill staff. The position also requires maintaining compliance with industry regulations, preparing comprehensive reports for senior management, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive organizational success.

Install, inspect, and ensure the upkeep of photovoltaic (PV) systems in full compliance with all applicable codes and standards.

Analyze and execute solar system designs and schematics to ensure accurate implementation.

Perform on-site evaluations to ascertain system requirements and assess the feasibility of installation.

Collaborate effectively with project engineers, electricians, and contractors to maintain on-schedule and precise installation processes.

Conduct thorough troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Maintain adherence to all safety regulations and established company policies to uphold operational integrity and regulatory standards.

Accurately document all installations, materials utilized, and service-related actions performed.

Deliver comprehensive client support and conduct educational sessions on system operations and maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and user proficiency.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role, preferably within a customer service environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. • Strong proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and data analysis tools. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and conflict resolution. • Proven track record of driving team performance and achieving business objectives. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure. • Experience in budget management and resource allocation.

Seeking candidates with at least one year of practical experience in solar photovoltaic (PV) installation or a closely related renewable energy discipline.

A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical field is required.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of solar photovoltaic (PV) system components, wiring configurations, and applicable safety regulations, such as NEC and IEC standards.

Proficient in analyzing and interpreting technical drawings and electrical schematics with precision and accuracy.

Proficiency in the utilization of tools, equipment, and testing instruments essential for solar installation processes is required.

Proficiency in hybrid systems, battery storage solutions, or solar water heating technologies is required.

Relevant professional certifications, such as those offered by NAB CEP or the PV Installation Professional program, are considered advantageous for candidates.

Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions, coupled with meticulous attention to precision and accuracy.

Maintains robust physical health and the capability to perform duties at elevated heights or under diverse outdoor environmental conditions.
