Compile discharge summaries, prescribe medications, and establish follow-up care strategies.
Work closely with healthcare specialists, nursing staff, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
Collaborate with other departments by initiating and managing referrals and consultations to ensure seamless coordination and efficient service delivery.
Ensure seamless continuity of care across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.
Engage in collaborative multidisciplinary case reviews and discussions to ensure comprehensive evaluation and consensus-driven decision-making.
Develop evidence-based protocols and guidelines, and provide education to medical officers and nurses on their practical implementation in patient care.
Follow established clinical protocols, adhere to relevant guidelines, and implement evidence-based practices consistently in all duties.
Contribute to quality improvement projects and conduct clinical audits to evaluate and enhance healthcare processes.
Oversee quality improvement initiatives and patient safety metrics, encompassing medication errors, hospital readmissions, and adverse events, among other critical indicators.
Ensure strict adherence to all infection prevention and control protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Document clinical incidents and engage in root-cause analysis (RCA) to identify underlying causes and facilitate corrective actions.

Engage in the clinical mentorship and educational instruction of resident physicians, providing guidance and support to junior medical staff.

Attend and actively engage in clinical meetings, case reviews, ecosystem grand rounds, and various departmental activities.

Highly effective candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a minimum of five years of proven experience in a comparable role, and a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards. Essential skills include strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational talents. Proficiency with relevant software applications, including ERP systems and data analysis tools, is required. Candidates must exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Prior experience in project management or a related supervisory capacity is strongly preferred.
Hold an accredited medical degree, such as an MBBS or its equivalent, from a recognized institution, demonstrating foundational knowledge and eligibility for clinical practice.
Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) is a prerequisite for this position.
A minimum of five to seven years of hands-on clinical experience is required for this role.
Possession of a valid medical license is required.
Expertise in clinical assessment and diagnostic techniques is essential.
Proficiency in advanced life support techniques is essential.
Proficient in using computers and related software applications is essential.
