Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Production Manager to lead daily shop floor operations and enhance production efficiency at our aluminum extrusion facility.
This leadership position is dedicated to achieving performance objectives, enhancing operational workflows, and maintaining rigorous compliance with safety and quality benchmarks.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to organizational policies. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across departments. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business objectives with operational goals, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Monitor key performance indicators, analyze trends, and report findings to stakeholders to inform data-driven decision-making. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements while upholding the highest ethical standards in all activities. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners, resolving escalated issues and facilitating seamless communication to support organizational success.
Responsible for leading and coordinating daily production activities across all shifts to ensure seamless operations.
Implement Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance and reliability.
Strive to meet production goals efficiently by minimizing waste and lowering per-unit expenses.
Oversee the organization of shift schedules, the allocation of the workforce, and the productivity of production lines.
Ensure unwavering adherence to all safety, quality, and maintenance standards throughout the shop floor operations.
Collaborate closely with the maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and planning teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across departments.
Drive ongoing enhancement initiatives while ensuring strict compliance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Deliver coaching and developmental support to operators to strengthen their competencies, improve operational outcomes, and foster a culture of responsibility.
Maintain accurate documentation, compile production reports, and manage performance dashboards to ensure data integrity and operational transparency.
Monitor the usage of raw materials and ensure precise inventory control.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
Seeking a candidate with at least five years of hands-on experience in production oversight or plant management, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
Accomplished a history of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, financial efficiency, and operational workflows.
Proven expertise in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S methodologies, and additional lean manufacturing techniques is required.
Organized, visionary leadership, the capacity to guide teams effectively, and exceptional communication proficiency are essential.
Proficient in evaluating production data to derive meaningful insights and implement informed, strategic decisions that drive operational improvements.
Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, with a preference for those with Odoo experience.
Strong preference is given to candidates who are available to reside on-site in Anna.
