Position: Factory-based in Sag amu, Gun State

Job Purpose

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for enhancing and streamlining all warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound logistics at the Sag amu factory. The successful applicant will maintain flawless supply chain processes, uphold stringent inventory precision, and guide the warehouse team toward maximizing operational productivity.

Oversee critical duties including the management and supervision of team operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards. Facilitate effective communication between departments to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive project execution and meet key performance indicators. Monitor progress through data analysis and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and operational staff to convey priorities, address concerns, and foster a collaborative work environment. Additionally, ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.

Responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse functions, such as the receipt, storage, distribution, and shipment of both raw materials and finished products.

Inventory Control: Develop and sustain comprehensive inventory management frameworks to guarantee absolute precision, perform routine stock audits, and reduce discrepancies and losses.

Oversee fleet operations, dispatch planning, and partnerships with third-party logistics providers to guarantee punctual deliveries to distributors and customers.

Strategize warehouse layout and space utilization to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring a secure and compliant working environment.

Provide leadership to the team by overseeing, coaching, and assessing warehouse staff, supervisors, and loaders, while cultivating an environment centered on safety and responsibility.

Ensure unwavering compliance with factory safety protocols, health mandates, and corporate policies across all warehouse operations.

Prepare and deliver consistent reports to senior management that detail warehouse key performance indicators, logistics expenditures, and current inventory status.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field is required. A minimum of five years’ experience in financial management, strategic planning, or a comparable role is necessary. Proficiency in financial software, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical abilities are essential. Exceptional communication and leadership skills are also required. Must demonstrate a proven track record of driving financial performance and implementing cost-saving initiatives.

A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of six to seven years of hands-on expertise in warehouse and logistics management, ideally within a manufacturing or large-scale factory setting, candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of operational success.

Skilled in utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solutions, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics.

Exceptional proficiency in leadership, conflict resolution, and personnel management is required.

Proven track record in analytical thinking, problem resolution, and efficient time management. Demonstrated capacity to process complex information, identify solutions, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Open to relocation to Sag amu, where company-provided housing at the factory site is available.
