We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic CRS & History Teacher who is committed to fostering student success. The ideal candidate will effectively instruct engaging lessons in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History while nurturing students’ academic growth, moral values, and personal development.

Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth while overseeing daily departmental activities. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, fostering collaboration and innovation. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to optimize financial performance and operational resilience. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, maintaining transparent communication and cultivating strong partnerships to support long-term success.

Deliver instructional sessions and subject in alignment with established teaching schemes, lesson plans, and institutional policies.

Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and History, employing dynamic teaching strategies to foster deep understanding and active participation among learners.

Craft instructional materials, including lesson plans, assignments, projects, classroom activities, assessments, and examination papers, in strict alignment with established curriculum guidelines.

Monitor student progress and evaluate the efficacy and comprehensiveness of instructional strategies and lesson plans, offering constructive feedback to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Collaborate with the Remedial Teacher to assess and address the unique learning requirements of identified students, crafting tailored support plans to enhance their academic progress and engagement.

Maintain classroom order, enforce approved disciplinary measures for minor infractions, and report significant behavioral concerns to the Sectional Head without delay.

Deliver compassionate pastoral care while fostering the holistic growth of students—academically, morally, emotionally, and socially.

Evaluate and grade students’ assignments, tests, projects, and examinations with precision and efficiency, ensuring timely completion of all assessments.

Continuously track and document students’ academic progress, behavior, and accomplishments, providing timely reports as needed.

Develop and sustain clear, constructive communication channels with parents or guardians to address students’ progress and well-being as needed.

Foster an environment where students embrace positive values, demonstrate ethical conduct, uphold leadership qualities, and exemplify responsible citizenship.

Foster a collaborative and cohesive team dynamic while promoting a nurturing and supportive educational atmosphere.

Engage proactively in staff meetings, school functions, professional development sessions, and extracurricular initiatives to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic educational environment.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Christian Religious Studies, History, Religious Studies, Education Arts, or a closely related field is required.

Applicants must hold a valid TRCN certification to be considered for this position.

A minimum of four years of instructional experience within a secondary educational setting is required.

Possesses a thorough understanding of the CRS and History curriculum, demonstrating expertise in both areas.

Proficient in maintaining effective classroom discipline and fostering clear, constructive communication with students and stakeholders.

Capable of motivating students both intellectually and ethically.
