Trying is in search of a highly motivated and exceptional executive to assume complete responsibility for both our business development initiatives and day-to-day operational management. As the COO/Head of Business Development, your role will involve spearheading Trying’s market expansion by acquiring new clients, crafting compelling high-value proposals, and finalizing agreements. Develop and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Business Development & Revenue Growth (50%): Spearhead strategic initiatives to drive expansion and enhance revenue streams, allocating 50% of focus to cultivating new partnerships, exploring market opportunities, and optimizing existing client relationships to maximize profitability.

Pipeline Generation: Spearhead comprehensive market research initiatives to identify, engage, and acquire new corporate, institutional, and public sector clients through a strategic, end-to-end approach.

Proposal & Bidding Management: You will be responsible for leading the development, organization, and submission of technically intricate business proposals, expressions of interest (Lois), and competitive tender documentation.

Client Relationship Management: Serve as Trying’s primary executive representative to new prospects, delivering compelling service presentations, finalizing high-value agreements, and overseeing seamless client onboarding processes.

Market Strategy: Evaluate market trends to strategically position Trying’s service offerings for a competitive advantage within the regional environment.

We are seeking a dynamic leader to oversee 40% of our operational functions and drive internal management excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in strategic planning, team coordination, and process optimization to enhance organizational efficiency. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, implementing best practices, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations while aligning with broader business goals. The position requires a strong understanding of data interpretation, proficiency in reporting tools, and the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders. Responsibilities include developing key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring progress against targets, and recommending adjustments to optimize outcomes. Collaborate directly with the Managing Director to convert the company’s strategic vision into tangible operational and sales objectives.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of professional experience in the industry are essential requirements for this role.
