Overview

The Supervisor – Global Trade, Supply Chain & Logistics oversees the full spectrum of international supply chain and logistics operations, guaranteeing the seamless, compliant movement of goods across international borders. This position leads logistics execution, manages trade documentation and customs coordination, and directs freight operations while fostering cross-functional collaboration to uphold cost efficiency, punctuality, and adherence to global trade regulations.

Oversee and execute core duties that include managing daily operations, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, improve performance, and achieve organizational objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and cost optimization while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Monitor and document key performance indicators, including on-time in-full (MOTIF) delivery metrics, transit durations, customs clearance processing times, and the cost incurred per shipment.

Support contract implementation, clarify Incomers provisions, and facilitate payment arrangements, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), escrow agreements, and related mechanisms.

Contribute operational insights to the selection of suppliers and the strategic planning of trade routes.
