Job Description
Overseeing the engineering team tasked with guaranteeing that all capital projects meet technical specifications and adhere to statutory obligations is essential.
Proactively diagnose and resolve common valve malfunctions, including leaks, mechanical breakdowns, and material degradation.
Provide assistance in the disassembly and reassembly of valves to facilitate part replacement, cleaning, and preparation for operation.
Provide support in assessing valve performance to confirm compliance with customer specifications.
Conduct regular evaluations of valves, including leak, pressure, and flow assessments, to ensure operational integrity and performance standards are met.
Support the upkeep and calibration of field instruments to ensure precise process control.
Skilled in utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and MATLAB proficiently.
A thorough grasp of electrical codes and adherence to safety standards is essential.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Process Engineering is required.
A minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience in valve calibration, flow measurement, instrumentation, and project management within the oil and gas sector is required.
