We seek a seasoned Contracts Professional with 12–13 years of hands-on expertise in Contract Management, Contract Administration, Techno-Commercial Evaluation, Negotiation, and Project Contracts, specifically within the Petrochemical, Fertilizer, EPC, Refinery, or Civil Engineering sectors.
Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and thorough review to effective negotiation and ongoing administration.
Oversee the management and execution of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical projects, as well as Major and Minor Capital Expenditure (Capex) project contracts.
Handle contract negotiations with vendors, contractors, and service providers to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, mitigate potential risks, and effectively manage claims throughout the process.
Collaborate effectively with the Projects, Procurement, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure seamless alignment and execution of operational objectives.
Ensure contracts are executed successfully while meeting all specified quality standards, budgetary constraints, and project timelines.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, complemented by at least five years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in frameworks like Spring or Django. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are required. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (B.E./B. Tech) is required.
An MBA or PGDM qualification is highly advantageous for this role, though alternative credentials may also be considered.
