Oversee and execute critical duties essential to the role, including the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with organizational objectives, ensuring seamless integration of processes and workflows. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by mentoring team members and providing constructive feedback. Serve as a liaison between senior management and operational staff to facilitate clear communication and alignment on company goals. Additionally, ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while maintaining high standards of quality and service delivery.

Conduct thorough evaluations of electrical engineering deliverables and technical submissions provided by contractors to ensure compliance with specified standards and requirements.

Ensure thorough inspection of electrical installations such as substations, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems to confirm compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.

Design, installation, and maintenance of distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), cabling infrastructure, lighting systems, earthing arrangements, and lightning protection systems are essential components of this role.

Perform comprehensive site inspections and detailed technical audits to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and all project requirements.

Assess project advancement and contribute technical insights to the certification of contractor payments.

Evaluate technical risks, assess non-conformities, and address quality concerns with diligence and precision.

Develop and deliver assurance reports and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

Hold an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field.

Professional registration, including credentials such as CORE, PE, or Cent, or their equivalent, is required.

For the Associate Level position, candidates must possess a minimum of six years of relevant experience, whereas the Consultant Level requires at least twelve years of relevant experience in industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, fertilizer, power generation, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.

Proficient in electrical systems encompassing high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) networks, as well as substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution.

Proficient knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other pertinent industry standards is required.

Extensive experience in consulting, acting as an owner’s engineer, EPC/EPCM, third-party inspection, project assurance, or conducting technical audits will be highly advantageous.

Certified professionals holding relevant credentials are strongly preferred, as these demonstrate a commitment to industry standards and enhance the credibility of the role.

A PMP certification, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, BOSH credential, IEEE Membership, Electrical Safety Certification, and Protection and Control Certification—or their equivalents—are required.

Professionals with experience in independent assurance, consulting, construction oversight, project validation, technical auditing, or owner’s engineering are strongly encouraged to apply.
