Position Summary:

The Head of Human Resources will function as the organization’s primary HR leader, offering strategic guidance in people management, organizational culture, and workforce performance throughout the company.

This position will provide leadership to divisional HR Managers while developing and implementing people strategies that drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and foster employee engagement in a fast-paced retail setting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic acumen and a results-driven approach in HR leadership, with a proven track record of leading large teams, spearheading culture transformation initiatives, and enhancing business performance through strategic people management.

Oversee and execute critical responsibilities integral to the role, including managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining high standards of productivity. Lead and oversee the work of Divisional HR Managers to maintain uniform and effective HR service delivery across the organization.

Formulate and implement human resources strategies that are fully integrated with and support broader organizational goals.

Spearhead strategic initiatives aimed at cultivating an organizational culture that enhances performance and fosters employee engagement.

Develop and implement performance management frameworks while formulating strategic approaches to employee relations.

Maintain adherence to all applicable labor laws, internal policies, and regulatory standards to ensure full compliance at all times.

Develop scalable HR systems, policies, and operational frameworks to support organizational growth and efficiency.

Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic workforce planning and talent management initiatives.

Spearhead enterprise-wide change management efforts to drive organizational transformation and ensure seamless adoption of new processes and systems.

The sought-after candidate will be a seasoned HR executive, boasting deep core HR proficiency and a track record of effectively driving people strategy in large, dynamic organizations—ideally within retail or comparable high-volume industries.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional people leadership skills, a proven track record in culture transformation, and the capacity to develop and implement HR strategy within fast-paced operational settings. This position demands a proactive leader capable of harmonizing strategic vision with practical execution while overseeing diverse HR teams across multiple sites.

We seek candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is the ability to analyze complex data sets and present actionable insights. Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams are also required. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory compliance and best practices is a must.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Three or more years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a comparable technical role is mandatory. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking are critical. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are necessary to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a comparable discipline is required.

Proficiency in retail, FMCG, banking, or other high-paced, multi-site operational settings is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in leveraging HR analytics platforms, workforce data management systems, and reporting tools is essential for this role.
