Purpose of Job

To enhance product availability and market presence across open market channels and Modern Trade outlets.

This position is responsible for accelerating sales growth, meeting volume and revenue targets, tracking and analyzing competitors’ activities, and overseeing third-party distribution networks across both open market and modern trade channels to ensure the fulfillment of company sales objectives.

The primary responsibilities of the role encompass overseeing key account management, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through strategic account development. This position requires extensive experience in relationship management, a proven track record in sales or business development, and the ability to analyze market trends to identify opportunities. To drive growth and profitability within the unit, strategically merchandise and promote the company’s products in the open market and MOT (Market of Tomorrow) space with precision and impact.

Spearhead the onboarding and market introduction of new brands, ensuring seamless integration to strengthen the company’s product offerings and foster expansion by reaching untapped customer segments while unlocking additional revenue streams.

Collaborate with the team to conduct comprehensive price surveys, collecting precise and current pricing data to support the development of competitive pricing strategies that empower the company to make well-informed decisions, safeguard market competitiveness, and maximize profitability.

To track competitor activities and market developments, compile and analyze data on competitor movements and industry trends, ensuring the timely dissemination of relevant insights. This enables the company to proactively anticipate market shifts, refine strategic approaches, and sustain a competitive advantage.
