Oversee critical functions and objectives within the role, ensuring adherence to established standards and operational protocols. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality assurance benchmarks. Prepare detailed reports, analyze data trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for informed decision-making.

Developing and managing audit budgets to ensure efficient allocation of financial resources is a key responsibility of this role.

Planning and executing comprehensive financial audits in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

The organization must maintain full compliance with all applicable legislation and adhere to industry best practices at all times.

Conducting thorough reviews of the company’s financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards is a key responsibility of this role.

Providing assistance to the accounting and auditing teams in executing their daily responsibilities.

Compiling and drafting audit reports and financial statements for submission and subsequent examination.

Professionally addressing client audit inquiries promptly and thoroughly.

The Engagement Partner may assign additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in the field of accounting is required.

A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in an audit-related role within a professional audit firm is essential.

A Chartered Accountant qualification is required, or the candidate must have reached an advanced stage in the ICAN professional examination.

Possesses exceptional research and analytical capabilities, enabling thorough data examination and informed decision-making.

Proficiency in accounting and auditing methodologies is essential.

A collaborative professional who thrives in group settings and actively contributes to team objectives while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both oral and written communication, conveying ideas clearly and effectively.

Demonstrates strong aptitude for organizing project timelines and managing deadlines efficiently.

Demonstrated discretion in managing confidential and sensitive information with integrity and professionalism is required.

Proficient in utilizing accounting and office software applications.
