Purpose of Job

To enhance distribution reach and market visibility across open market channels and Modern Trade outlets.

This position is responsible for spearheading sales expansion, meeting quantitative and qualitative targets, analyzing and tracking competitor strategies, and overseeing third-party distribution networks across open market and modern trade channels to fulfill organizational sales goals.

Principal accountabilities

Responsible for directing business operations across open market and modern trade channels within the primary SBS, ensuring efficient management and seamless coordination of all related activities.

To drive growth and profitability for the unit, strategically merchandise and promote the company’s products within the open market and MOT space, ensuring maximum visibility and customer engagement.

Spearhead the onboarding and market introduction of emerging brands, guaranteeing their seamless integration into the trade landscape to bolster the company’s product offerings. This initiative will expand the company’s market presence, tap into untapped customer segments, and unlock additional revenue streams by capitalizing on new sales opportunities.

Collaborate with the team to conduct comprehensive price surveys, ensuring the collection of precise and current pricing data. This effort supports the development of competitive pricing strategies, empowering the company to make well-informed decisions that sustain market competitiveness and enhance profitability.

To monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends in a timely and relevant manner, providing insights that enable the company to anticipate shifts in the market, refine strategic approaches proactively, and sustain a competitive advantage.
