We are in search of a Fixed Income Sales & Trading Specialist possessing proven execution capabilities and a strong background in client-facing roles within the Nigerian fixed income market.

This position is centered on fixed income trading, sales, and distribution, with a primary objective of enhancing revenue streams through FGN Bonds, T-Bills, OMO bills, and corporate debt instruments.

The role involves working closely with institutional and high-net-worth individual (HI) clients, facilitating both secondary market transactions and primary market initiatives.

Applicants must either hold SEC Sponsored Individual status or meet the criteria for immediate sponsorship eligibility.

Oversee a range of essential duties, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives, allocate resources, and monitor progress to achieve targeted outcomes. Identify potential risks, propose solutions, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment with organizational goals. Report regularly on performance metrics and recommend improvements to optimize productivity and quality standards.

Execute and trade FGN Bonds, T-Bills, OMO bills, and corporate debt instruments with precision and strategic insight.

Proactively expand fixed income product offerings and cultivate robust relationships with institutional and high-net-worth individual (HI) clients to enhance sales and distribution channels.

Deliver comprehensive analyses encompassing pricing trends, yield evaluations, and liquidity assessments.

Facilitate the execution of trades and client orders within the secondary market environment.

Facilitate the execution of primary market auctions and securities offerings with precision and efficiency.

Foster enduring client relationships centered on fixed income flow, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.

Deliver consistent market analyses and strategic investment perspectives on a recurring basis.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards set by the SEC, FMDQ, and USE, maintaining full compliance with all applicable financial and market regulations.

Requirements

With a minimum of seven to ten years of hands-on experience in Nigeria’s fixed income markets, the ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in this specialized financial sector.

Seasoned professionals with extensive experience in fixed income sales, trading, or dealer desk operations are encouraged to apply.
