Operate production machinery in strict adherence to standard operating procedures to maintain efficient and precise manufacturing operations.
Design and execute a structured preventive and corrective maintenance program to sustain machinery performance at peak levels and mitigate the risk of unplanned downtime.
Diagnose and rectify minor mechanical malfunctions promptly to reduce equipment downtime and sustain uninterrupted production operations.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all maintenance actions—such as repairs, component replacements, and inspections—to uphold precise tracking of equipment functionality, streamline diagnostic processes, and provide data-driven insights essential for strategic maintenance scheduling and overall operational optimization.
You will be responsible for documenting and maintaining precise records of production activities, including material consumption and wastage, as well as tracking machine performance and operational issues. These records must then be reported to supervisors to ensure transparency and facilitate informed decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also required. Experience with project management tools is a plus.
Professionals with an Ordinary National Diploma in Engineering and between one and three years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
