We are in search of a meticulous and highly proficient Mechanical Technician to enhance our technical team.
The successful applicant will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery, ensuring their optimal performance and operational efficiency.

Oversee key operational duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and project execution to drive organizational objectives forward. Develop and implement comprehensive policies and procedures that enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance across departments. Collaborate with senior management to align initiatives with long-term business goals while ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination. Monitor progress through performance metrics, data analysis, and regular evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Serve as a primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and address corrective repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and perform repairs promptly to reduce operational interruptions.
Install, inspect, test, and maintain all mechanical systems and components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Monitor equipment functionality and analyze performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency. Provide actionable recommendations aimed at optimizing equipment utilization and reducing downtime.
Perform regular inspections to verify that machinery functions in compliance with established safety and quality protocols.
Responsibilities include analyzing and comprehending technical drawings, manuals, and engineering specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and application. This role requires the ability to extract critical details and translate complex technical information into actionable insights.
Ensure meticulous maintenance of accurate records, reports, and documentation to uphold compliance and operational transparency.
Work collaboratively with engineers and other technical team members to identify and resolve mechanical challenges.
Maintain adherence to organizational policies, safety standards, and established maintenance protocols.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to meet established productivity objectives effectively.
Requirements
A minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Higher National Diploma (HND), or Trade Test Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is required.
Demonstrated expertise as a Mechanical Technician or a comparable technical position is required.
Proficient in the operation, upkeep, and diagnostics of mechanical systems and equipment, with demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting methodologies.
Proficient in the operation of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory protocols.
Proficient in analyzing and understanding technical diagrams and schematics with precision and clarity.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in problem-solving and analytical reasoning.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to effectively interact and cooperate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and production equipment is required.
Possesses a solid understanding of preventive maintenance systems.

Seeking a highly motivated professional to fill the position, offering a competitive compensation package commencing at $95,000 annually. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in financial analysis or a similar role. Proficiency in advanced Excel, data visualization tools, and ERP systems is essential, and familiarity with GAAP or IFRS standards is strongly preferred. Responsibilities include conducting financial modeling, preparing comprehensive reports, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities are critical to success in this role.
A monthly salary range of ₦150,000 to ₦200,000 is offered for this position.
