We’re in search of an ambitious, strategic, and outcome-focused leader to guide our Facilities/Estate Management team as the Head of Office Operations. In this role, you will spearhead the strategic planning and day-to-day management of all office facilities, estates, and infrastructure, ensuring a secure, cost-efficient, and high-performing workplace for our teams.
Oversee a range of critical operational tasks to ensure seamless workflow efficiency, including project execution, resource allocation, and team coordination. Act as a primary point of contact for cross-functional collaboration, facilitating communication between departments to align objectives and resolve potential conflicts. Monitor performance metrics and key indicators to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering professional development and enhancing overall productivity. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and safety standards while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.
Strategic Leadership: Spearheads the development and implementation of facilities and estate strategies, encompassing space planning, expansion efforts, and sustainability programs.
Facilities Management entails the supervision of maintenance, operational activities, and ensuring the peak performance of all buildings and infrastructure.
Oversees the procurement and administration of service providers, ensuring adherence to established contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain optimal quality while optimizing cost efficiency.
Ensures complete adherence to all regulatory, health, and safety standards at every operational site.
Demonstrates expertise in fiscal oversight by administering budgets, tracking expenditures, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost reduction.
Manages construction, renovation, and office fit-out projects from inception to completion.
Ensures seamless daily office operations and elevates the overall workplace experience for all staff members.
Demonstrates strong leadership by guiding, fostering growth within, and ensuring accountability of the facilities team to consistently meet performance expectations.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in estate management, facilities management, engineering, or a related discipline is required.
A Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field, is beneficial.
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience in facilities, estate, or property management is required.
Minimum of five years of experience in a senior leadership or managerial capacity is required.
Highly desirable credentials include professional certifications such as IFMA, RICH, NI ESV, CORE, USE, or comparable qualifications.
Demonstrated success in overseeing operations spanning multiple locations alongside corporate headquarters settings.
Established expertise in overseeing construction projects, renovations, and fit-outs, consistently delivering successful outcomes with precision and efficiency.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance.
Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of health, safety, and regulatory compliance standards and practices.
Exceptional leadership capabilities, strategic insight, and a proven track record of driving results through effective execution.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in making sound decisions, effectively managing stakeholders, and driving operational enhancements.
