As a Business Developer within Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, you will be instrumental in fostering business expansion by uncovering new opportunities, recruiting high-quality merchants, training agents and merchants, and boosting product uptake.
Job Responsibilities
Market research and outreach specialists will pinpoint and engage high-priority merchants spanning multiple industry verticals to promote PWT, merchant financing options, strategic partnerships, and digital payment solutions through a multi-faceted approach including online directories, industry conferences, and professional referrals.
Initiate strategic outreach to prospective merchants, cultivating meaningful relationships while coordinating meetings and demonstrations to highlight the advantages of integrating Palm Pay’s full range of solutions.
Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ business operations, payment systems, and key challenges to pinpoint precise needs and obstacles, then deliver customized solutions based on findings.
Palm Pay’s services are presented through customized presentations, designed to highlight key features, functionalities, and potential returns on investment in a compelling manner, with content tailored to meet the distinct needs of each merchant, including Key and High-quality merchants.
Develop strong, long-term partnerships with pivotal stakeholders in client organizations by showcasing deep industry knowledge, unwavering dependability, and prompt communication.
Lead negotiations to finalize pricing, terms, and agreements, securing advantageous deals while ensuring satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development and customer support, to resolve client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and facilitate the smooth deployment of selected services.
Compensation is provided commensurate with experience, qualifications, and industry standards, ensuring competitive salary and benefits packages designed to attract and retain top talent. Monthly base salary is set at seventy thousand naira.
Compensation includes a base salary of $20,000 along with a performance-based sales commission structure.
