Position Overview

The Technical Advisor for ICT Skills for Youth will play a pivotal role in advancing youth-focused digital skills development initiatives under the DTC Nigeria program. This position involves designing, coordinating, and overseeing activities specifically aimed at equipping young Nigerians with ICT competencies aligned to labor market demands, thereby enhancing their employability within the digital economy.

The advisor will collaborate extensively with government agencies, educational institutions, vocational training centers, innovation centers, academic establishments, and international development collaborators.

Oversee and execute the primary duties associated with the position, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize performance and drive productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges, fostering a cohesive working environment. Monitor progress through key performance indicators, providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies to uphold organizational integrity and reputation. Additionally, contribute to the training and mentorship of team members to cultivate a skilled and motivated workforce.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Economics, ICT, Computer Science, Education, Social Sciences, Business Informatics, or a closely related discipline is required.

A master’s degree is considered a valuable asset.
