Role Description

This position is a full-time, entry-level, on-site opportunity designed for a Catering and Culinary Graduate at The Place Nigeria, situated in Leak.

This position encompasses active involvement in food preparation and catering operations, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional service to customers while rigorously upholding hygiene and safety protocols.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing menu selections and fostering exceptional customer dining experiences. Strong teamwork and clear communication with colleagues will be essential to the success of this position.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a minimum of five years of experience in software development, preferably using Java or Python. Proficiency in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is essential, along with familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment are necessary. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.

Demonstrates a strong command of food service and catering techniques to provide exceptional culinary offerings.

Demonstrates exceptional customer service and communication abilities to deliver superior customer experiences while fostering effective teamwork.

A demonstrated proficiency in culinary arts, emphasizing excellence, creativity, and strict compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.

Proven capacity to thrive in dynamic, high-pressure settings while efficiently adjusting to evolving culinary priorities and challenges.

A degree or diploma in Catering and Culinary Arts or an equivalent field is necessary.

Prior experience within the food service industry is advantageous, though not a prerequisite for consideration.
