Action Against Hunger | ACF Nigeria LTD/GTE  · NGO / Non-Profit Associations

Full Time Borno
Borno
Deadline: 25 June 2026
Posted June 16, 2026

Action Against Hunger Nigeria (ACF Nigeria) LTD/LTE operates as a global humanitarian and development organization, dedicated to addressing the root causes and consequences of hunger across more than 50 countries worldwide, with a significant presence in Nigeria. For over a decade, ACF Nigeria has actively responded to persistent food insecurity and malnutrition challenges in Northeast Nigeria, addressing a severe humanitarian crisis triggered by factors such as insecurity, mass displacement, natural disasters, climate variability, and economic instability.

ACF Nigeria, in collaboration with partners BO WDI, YIP DI, Save the Children (SC), and EYE, has been executing the Empowering and Nurturing Resilience, Integration, and Community Health (ENRICH) initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of State. Over the past 24 months, this program has delivered critical lifesaving and recovery support to vulnerable communities in Born State, with a focus on Rubio, Maguire, Mobber, and Saga Local Government Areas (Gas). The initiative has positively impacted the lives of approximately 714,045 individuals during this period.

The principal aims of these initiatives encompass comprehensive planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure successful project outcomes. Each endeavor strives to achieve measurable results while adhering to established timelines and resource constraints. Collaboration among stakeholders remains essential to align objectives with organizational goals and foster innovation throughout the process.

Enhanced health and nutrition services contribute to the reduction of morbidity and mortality rates.

Household food security is enhanced by delivering unconditional food or cash assistance during both lean and off-lean seasons to populations affected by conflict.

A resilient WASH intervention is implemented to enhance the capacity of households, communities, and systems in Born to withstand shocks.

Populations impacted by crises benefit from enhanced protection services designed to bolster community resilience.

ACF and its partners implement multi-sectoral approaches to enhance food security, strengthen access to quality health and nutrition services, and foster resilience among at-risk populations. The organization’s primary objective is to advance nutrition security, lower mortality and morbidity rates—particularly for children under five—and enable communities to achieve sustainable growth.

ACF Nigeria, following 20 months of project implementation, aims to create a documentary highlighting the progress and impact of its work within communities in Born State under the ENRICH project. In pursuit of this goal, ACF Nigeria is seeking a skilled service provider—such as a journalist, videographer, digital documentary producer, or similar professional—with expertise in documentary production, particularly within Born State. The geographical scope of coverage includes Born and Lobe States in Nigeria’s North-East region.
