Job Summary
A vigilant and professional Hotel Security Personnel is required to safeguard guests, staff, visitors, and hotel property, ensuring their safety and security at all times.
The ideal candidate will conduct ongoing surveillance of hotel facilities, address security concerns promptly, uphold established hotel regulations, and ensure a consistently secure and hospitable atmosphere for all guests and staff.
Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing operational planning, team coordination, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Conduct routine patrols of hotel premises to identify and deter unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, and other potential security threats, ensuring a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and other surveillance equipment to ensure continuous protection of property and personnel.
Responsible for regulating entry to hotel facilities and confirming the identity of visitors as required.
Respond swiftly to any emergencies, security breaches, disturbances, accidents, or fire alarms without delay.
Provide assistance to guests and staff concerning safety-related concerns, and offer support during emergency situations.
Detailed incident and daily activity reports must be prepared.
Perform regular assessments of hotel premises to detect any security or safety risks that may compromise guest well-being or operational integrity.
Work in partnership with management and relevant law enforcement authorities as needed.
Ensure strict adherence to hotel policies, regulations, and security protocols at all times.
Maintain the operational readiness and accessibility of all emergency exits and safety equipment at all times.
Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. Familiarity with project management methodologies and the capacity to work independently or in a team setting are also essential.
Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or High School Diploma is required; completion of additional security training will be considered beneficial.
Preferred candidates will have prior experience in security services, hospitality, or a comparable industry.
Exceptional proficiency in observational capabilities, effective communication, and adeptness in resolving conflicts is required.
Maintains composure and professionalism effectively in high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in emergency response protocols and adherence to established safety regulations is required.
Capable of sustaining prolonged physical exertion and maintaining vigilant patrols while standing for extended durations.
Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling to accommodate rotating shifts, overnight hours, weekends, and designated public holidays as required by operational demands.
