Job Summary

A highly motivated and meticulous Store Officer is required to oversee inventory management and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate will maintain precise stock documentation, ensure materials are stored correctly, distribute inventory promptly, and implement robust inventory control measures to facilitate seamless production and operational continuity.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives forward. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with company goals and regulatory standards. Lead and mentor teams by assigning clear responsibilities, fostering professional growth, and maintaining high standards of accountability. Monitor workflows, analyze performance data, and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall operational excellence. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts, and facilitating seamless communication across departments. Ensure adherence to industry best practices, compliance requirements, and internal governance frameworks to mitigate risks and uphold organizational integrity.

Conduct thorough inspections and verifications of all incoming shipments, including raw materials, packaging supplies, spare parts, and additional inventory items, to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.

Ensure all materials are stored, handled, and preserved in strict accordance with established company guidelines to maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Responsible for ensuring precise documentation of stock receipts, issuances, transfers, and inventory balances.

Oversee inventory levels vigilantly and submit replenishment requests promptly to avoid any potential stock shortages.

Draft, verify, and maintain accurate Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Store Requisition Vouchers (SRVs), and all other required inventory documentation with meticulous attention to detail.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and alignment with inventory records.

Conduct thorough assessments to identify and document discrepancies, damages, losses, and outdated inventory, ensuring accurate reporting of findings.

Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Finance, and Internal Control teams to validate and maintain precise inventory records.

Oversee the tracking of inventory movements and verify adherence to established protocols.

Ensure the store environment remains consistently tidy, hygienic, and secure for both staff and customers.

Prepare inventory reports and deliver precise stock data to management for informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Facilitate regular internal and external audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Ensure adherence to company policies, inventory control protocols, and health and safety regulations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) serve as measurable metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and success of specific objectives, providing clear benchmarks for performance assessment. Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, or a closely related field is required.

Seeking a candidate with at least three years of professional experience in store keeping, warehouse management, or inventory control, ideally within a manufacturing, feed mill, FMCG, or industrial setting.

Possesses a strong understanding of inventory management principles and stock control procedures.

Requires strong skills in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Proven track record in effectively overseeing the management of raw materials, finished goods, and consumable inventory is required.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in numerical analysis and problem-solving with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Proficient in generating inventory reports and ensuring meticulous maintenance of accurate documentation.
