The MEAL Officer will oversee project monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning initiatives to uphold high-quality implementation, accurate tracking of outcomes, evidence-based decision-making, and adherence to donor requirements. Additionally, the role involves conducting field monitoring, facilitating reporting processes, and fostering organizational learning.
Oversee and execute a range of core duties essential to the role, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards. Facilitate effective communication across departments to align objectives and resolve operational challenges. Conduct regular evaluations of performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions. Maintain compliance with industry regulations while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance productivity and professional growth.
Develop and implement comprehensive Project MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) plans, along with detailed indicator tracking tables and robust performance monitoring frameworks.
Accurate collection, verification, analysis, and reporting of project data must be ensured.
Regular field monitoring visits are conducted to evaluate progress, ensure quality standards are met, and verify compliance with established protocols.
Monitor progress toward achieving project deliverables, outcomes, and key performance indicators to ensure alignment with established targets and objectives.
Conduct baseline, midline, and Edline assessments, surveys, and evaluations to measure progress and outcomes effectively.
Conduct routine data verification and validation exercises to maintain high data quality standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure comprehensive documentation and analysis of organizational performance metrics.
Collect and systematically record community feedback to maintain an accurate log for future reference and analysis.
Conduct learning reviews and reflection sessions to foster continuous improvement and development.
Deliver expert technical assistance in Monitoring and Evaluation methodologies to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting.
