Scope

Develop and implement innovative estate brokerage, property management, and valuation briefs and business strategies specifically tailored for the branch office to drive growth and operational excellence.

Responsible for overseeing and executing all operational functions of the designated branch to ensure sustained profitability.

Responsibilities include the management and direction of the Capital Markets, Property/Facility Management, and Valuations portfolio operations within the branch.

The role involves overseeing the current client portfolio while actively pursuing growth opportunities to expand the branch’s clientele.

With proven experience, you will have a strong background in relevant fields and a track record of successfully delivering results. You bring hands-on expertise in key areas, ensuring efficient problem-solving and adherence to best practices. Your ability to adapt to evolving challenges and maintain high performance standards will be essential. Additionally, you possess the necessary qualifications and certifications to meet the role’s demands.

A bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, attained with at least a second-class grade, is required.

With a minimum of 12 to 15 years of hands-on experience in real estate brokerage, property valuation, and the management of properties and facilities, you bring a deep understanding of the industry to the role.

Must hold Associate Membership status with the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NI ESV).

Must be a member of ESVARBON

Associate membership of RICS is a plus

Possesses in-depth expertise regarding the real estate landscape within Port Harcourt, Nigeria, particularly in areas experiencing vacancies.

Demonstrates exceptional organizational abilities alongside strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication, with a proven track record in effectively managing customer and client relationships.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while identifying effective solutions to challenges is essential.

Accomplished negotiation expertise plays a pivotal role in achieving mutually beneficial outcomes, fostering strong professional relationships, and driving strategic agreements. This proficiency involves the ability to analyze complex situations, leverage persuasive techniques, and secure advantageous terms while maintaining integrity and professionalism. Strong communication skills are essential to articulate positions clearly, address objections effectively, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders. Additionally, a deep understanding of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and competitive landscapes enhances decision-making and ensures sustainable results. Capable of exercising sound judgment and making timely, well-considered decisions under pressure.

Systems and Information Technology expertise is essential, encompassing a broad understanding of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and technology solutions. Proficiency in managing and optimizing IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and cybersecurity measures, is required. Candidates should demonstrate experience with system integration, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT service continuity. Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and data management principles is highly advantageous, as is familiarity with IT governance and compliance standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial to effectively address technical challenges and enhance operational efficiency.

High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential for this role.
