Propel business expansion, enhance deposit mobilization, and escalate revenue generation specifically within the Oil & Gas industry.
Formulate and implement strategies in alignment with the Bank’s established goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with oil and gas firms and key figures within the industry.
Negotiate agreements and develop structured financial and transactional solutions.
Oversee, mentor, and cultivate the growth of Relationship Managers and Business Development teams.
Track and evaluate performance metrics, operational pipelines, and progress toward business objectives to ensure targets are consistently met.
Maintain robust credit quality, implement effective risk management strategies, adhere to regulatory compliance requirements, and uphold Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
Engage with industry forums and stakeholder engagements on behalf of the Bank.
Experienced professionals will lead the expansion of revenue streams by promoting Treasury, Trade Finance, Corporate Banking, and Digital Banking solutions to existing clients.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in any field is required, with additional qualifications considered advantageous.
A minimum of seven to ten years of relevant professional experience is required, ideally within the Oil & Gas, Commercial, or Corporate Banking sectors.
CBN certification is either a mandatory requirement or a preferable qualification for candidates applying for this position.
Demonstrates a strong history of success in driving sales growth, cultivating key client relationships, and consistently achieving revenue targets.
Professionals should possess a comprehensive grasp of the operational, financial, and environmental factors shaping the Oil & Gas industry, alongside a deep awareness of associated risks and compliance obligations.
Analytical prowess, strategic leadership abilities, and adept negotiation capabilities are all essential for this role.
