Job Summary

As a Business Developer within Palm Pay’s Pay with Transfer team, your primary responsibility will involve spearheading business expansion by uncovering untapped opportunities, onboarding high-quality merchants, training agents and merchants on product usage, and fostering increased product adoption across the ecosystem.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals, and implementing process improvements to enhance performance. Additionally, the role entails managing stakeholder communications to maintain transparency and trust, analyzing data to identify trends and inform strategic decisions, and mentoring junior staff to foster professional growth. Compliance with industry regulations and company policies remains a critical priority, alongside delivering high-quality outputs within specified timelines.

Market Prospecting: Develop and execute strategies to engage high-potential merchants across diverse market segments, offering PWT, merchant loans, collaboration opportunities, and online payment solutions through a range of channels, including digital directories, industry events, and professional referrals.

Initiate strategic outreach to prospective clients, cultivating meaningful professional relationships while coordinating appointments or presentations to showcase the advantages of integrating Palm Pay’s full range of services.

Perform in-depth evaluations of clients’ business processes, payment systems, and key challenges to pinpoint precise needs and areas requiring improvement, subsequently delivering customized solutions.

Customized Presentations: Deliver tailored presentations that effectively demonstrate Palm Pay’s services, emphasizing key features, functionalities, and potential ROI to align with the distinct needs of each merchant, including Key and High-quality merchants.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain long-lasting partnerships with influential decision-makers in client organizations by showcasing deep industry knowledge, unwavering dependability, and prompt communication.

Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and agreements to finalize deals successfully, while ensuring satisfaction and compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product development and customer support teams, to resolve client inquiries, provide technical expertise, and facilitate smooth service implementation.
