Summary
ARISE is in search of a proactive and meticulously organized Project Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of projects within Born and Lobe States.
This position will facilitate the successful implementation of ARISE interventions focused on peace building, youth and women empowerment, livelihoods, civic engagement, and community resilience within conflict-affected communities.
The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with field teams, partners, and senior leadership to guarantee the smooth execution of projects, alignment with donor requirements, and attainment of desired results.
Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution to drive organizational success. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives, foster innovation, and ensure seamless communication across departments. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to optimize processes and achieve key business goals. Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, professional development, and talent retention while maintaining a high-performance culture.
Project Implementation and Coordination: Responsible for overseeing the execution and seamless integration of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and established timelines. Provide assistance in the development, strategic planning, and execution of ARISE projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and donor specifications.
Oversee and manage daily project operations across the Born and Lobe field locations to ensure seamless execution and alignment with established objectives.
Guarantee the punctual completion of project work plans while maintaining alignment with predetermined objectives and performance indicators.
Collaborate effectively with Project Officers, Volunteers, and Consultants to facilitate seamless project execution.
Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes to ensure accurate data collection, systematic analysis, and timely dissemination of findings. Establish performance indicators, track progress against targets, and compile comprehensive reports to inform decision-making. Collaborate with stakeholders to validate data integrity and enhance reporting frameworks for greater transparency and accountability.
Collaborate in the establishment and execution of Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) frameworks to track project advancement effectively.
Gather, organize, and evaluate project data to support reporting and strategic decision-making processes.
Craft comprehensive narrative and activity reports in a timely and precise manner for distribution to management and donors.
Oversee on-site operations to verify adherence to established standards and quality criteria.
Stakeholder engagement and coordination involve cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with key parties, ensuring alignment toward shared objectives. This role requires proactive communication, adept negotiation, and the ability to synthesize diverse perspectives into cohesive strategies. Responsibilities include identifying critical stakeholders, engaging them through tailored approaches, and facilitating collaboration across teams or organizations. Represent ARISE at pertinent community-level meetings and coordination forums as needed.

Assist in organizing project activities, training sessions, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
Support the organization and maintenance of project documentation, records, and knowledge resources.
Facilitate seamless coordination of logistics and field support to guarantee the flawless execution of operations.
Risk and Safeguarding Compliance involves ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, mitigating operational risks, and implementing robust safeguarding measures to protect organizational integrity and stakeholder trust. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of compliance frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements, alongside the ability to develop and enforce policies that mitigate potential threats. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance with legal obligations, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and providing guidance to mitigate risks while upholding ethical and safety standards across all business operations.
