We are looking for a seasoned and outcome-focused Senior Medical Sales Representative to spearhead, inspire, and oversee a top-performing sales team, while simultaneously propelling business expansion within designated territories.

Job Summary

The Senior Medical Sales Representative will promote the company’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and other critical stakeholders.

The successful applicant must demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, outstanding communication proficiency, and a demonstrated history of success in pharmaceutical sales and team oversight.

Oversee key operational duties, including the management of day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to organizational standards. Develop and implement strategies that enhance performance and drive sustainable growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and foster innovation in processes. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address challenges to maintain momentum. Maintain accurate records, prepare detailed reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Participate in strategic planning sessions to shape future initiatives and contribute to long-term business objectives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Drive the expansion of the company’s pharmaceutical portfolio by engaging with healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, hospitals, and medical institutions to facilitate product adoption and sales growth.

Develop and sustain robust professional connections with healthcare professionals and influential stakeholders to facilitate collaborative partnerships.

Oversee and guide a team of medical sales representatives to ensure they meet established sales objectives through leadership, supervision, and mentorship.

Craft and execute strategic sales initiatives tailored to designated territories to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

Oversee team performance consistently and deliver ongoing coaching, training, and assistance to enhance productivity and development.

Develop comprehensive sales reports, conduct thorough market intelligence, analyze competitor activities, and provide regular performance updates.

Devise and engage in medical presentations, product launches, conferences, and promotional initiatives to effectively communicate key information and drive engagement.

Analyze and pursue emerging business prospects while broadening the scope of market presence.

Seeking a motivated professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a comparable role, who possesses strong analytical skills and proficiency in data management. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in a relevant field and demonstrate expertise in identifying cost-saving opportunities and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities include overseeing financial processes, conducting thorough data analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic improvements.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.

Requires a minimum of four years of professional experience in pharmaceutical sales.

With a minimum of two years of demonstrated success in leading or overseeing a sales team, you bring proven experience in sales management and team leadership to this role.

Demonstrated expertise in leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal relationships is essential.

Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication, coupled with polished presentation skills, is essential.

Capable of consistently surpassing established sales objectives and delivering outstanding results.
