Perform detailed topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys to support construction projects, ensuring accurate data collection and precise documentation of site conditions.
Construct reference points, grids, and benchmarks utilizing architectural and engineering drawings as the foundation.
Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as Total Station, GPS, and Auto Level to ensure accurate data collection and equipment functionality.
Compile comprehensive survey reports, technical drawings, and specification sheets with precision and clarity.
Partner with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to maintain consistency with design specifications throughout project execution.
Ensure that vertical and horizontal alignments are meticulously verified throughout excavation, foundation installation, and structural construction phases to maintain precision and adherence to design specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to established safety protocols and quality benchmarks throughout all surveying operations.
Maintain precise documentation of survey data and ensure project databases remain current with the latest findings.
Requirement
A minimum of six to nine years of hands-on experience as a Land Surveyor, specifically within construction projects—whether in building or civil works—is required.
A Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or an equivalent discipline is required.
Proven expertise in operating Total Station, GPS equipment, AutoCAD, and specialized survey software is essential.
Candidates holding CORE registration or membership with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (IS) will be viewed favorably.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending construction drawings and blueprints with precision and clarity.
Possesses exceptional proficiency in mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving methodologies. Demonstrates a high degree of capability in identifying, dissecting, and resolving complex issues with precision and efficiency.
Demonstrated availability for full-time, in-person work in Abu Dhabi, with potential travel to designated project sites as needed.
