The NYC Survey Data Analysis Intern will perform a range of key responsibilities, including conducting detailed data analysis, interpreting survey results, and generating actionable insights to support decision-making processes. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, preparing comprehensive reports, and assisting in the development of data-driven recommendations. Support the execution of research initiatives, including baseline studies, impact assessments, and mid-term reviews.

A bachelor’s degree in Demography, Economics, Statistics, Sociology, Public Health, or another closely related quantitative discipline is required.
Proficiency in using State or SPSS for survey data analysis is a mandatory requirement.
Proficient in quantitative analysis and skilled in utilizing data visualization and statistical software tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel, is required.
Proficiency in executing research initiatives, analyzing survey data, and performing program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in utilizing extensive secondary datasets, including MICS, DHS, and NARKS, would be highly beneficial.
Proficient in English verbal and written communication, demonstrating a commitment to quality and meticulous attention to detail.
