Job Summary
We require a meticulous and experienced Machine Operator to oversee, manage, and maintain production equipment, ensuring optimal manufacturing efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties to ensure operational excellence, including managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, drive innovation, and achieve key performance indicators. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and deliver high-quality results. Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Execute production machinery in strict adherence to established company protocols and safety regulations.
Monitor machine functionality and implement required adjustments to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
Perform regular inspections and carry out essential maintenance tasks on equipment.
Proactively detect and document any malfunctions, failures, or operational disruptions in machinery and promptly communicate these issues to the appropriate personnel.
Diligently verify that all products adhere to established quality benchmarks and are manufactured in accordance with production quotas.
Ensure production records and reports are maintained with precision and accuracy at all times.
Maintain a tidy workspace and fully comply with all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure and orderly environment.
Requirements
A minimum qualification of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), a Trade Test certification, or an equivalent credential is required.
A minimum of one to three years of hands-on experience in operating machinery within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing setting is required.
Requires proficiency in identifying and resolving mechanical issues through systematic analysis and diagnostic techniques. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to implement effective troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and correct malfunctions efficiently.
Capable of functioning effectively across varying shifts and while operating with limited oversight.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering dedication to maintaining high safety standards.
