The Depot Sales Representative drives sales initiatives at the depot, cultivates robust customer relationships, meets established sales goals, and delivers outstanding customer service.
This position entails uncovering new business prospects, maintaining strong relationships with current clients, handling order fulfillment, and contributing to the company’s sustained expansion.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties to ensure seamless business functionality, including managing day-to-day activities, optimizing workflows, and maintaining high standards of efficiency. Spearhead strategic planning initiatives to align team objectives with organizational goals, fostering collaboration and innovation across departments. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective measures as necessary to drive continuous growth. Lead cross-functional teams, delegating tasks effectively while providing mentorship and clear direction to enhance productivity and accountability. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and uphold compliance standards. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and staff, communicating priorities, expectations, and feedback to cultivate a cohesive and high-performing work environment.
Drive sales growth by actively promoting and selling the company’s products to customers across your designated territory.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Establish and nurture enduring partnerships with distributors, retailers, and in-person clients to foster mutual growth and satisfaction.
Handle customer orders with diligence and verify their prompt delivery.
Oversee stock levels and liaise with warehouse staff to ensure timely inventory management.
Discover untapped sales prospects and broaden the organization’s market reach by cultivating relationships with new clients.
Compile comprehensive sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to track performance metrics and identify trends.
Conduct comprehensive research to analyze competitor strategies, pricing structures, and evolving customer demands.
Handle customer complaints promptly and efficiently to enhance overall satisfaction levels.
Requirements
A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, such as an OND or NCE, is required.
Seeking candidates with a proven track record of 1 to 3 years in sales, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
Demonstrated proficiency in conveying ideas clearly and effectively, along with a keen ability to negotiate agreements that align with organizational objectives.
Strong interpersonal abilities to cultivate and sustain productive customer relationships.
Skilled in utilizing the full suite of Microsoft Office applications proficiently.
Proven capability to operate autonomously while consistently achieving established sales objectives.
