Job Summary
The Depot Sales Representative is tasked with executing sales initiatives at the depot level, cultivating and sustaining robust customer connections, meeting or exceeding sales objectives, and delivering outstanding customer service.
The position encompasses discovering new business prospects, nurturing existing client relationships, handling order fulfillment, and fostering the company’s expansion.
Oversee and manage the daily operations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, innovation, and performance across departments. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with senior leadership to align business strategies with operational capabilities. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks and maintaining high standards of governance.
Responsible for actively marketing and driving sales of company products to clients within the designated territory.
Drive consistent monthly and yearly sales performance to meet predetermined targets.
Develop and nurture robust partnerships with distributors, retailers, and in-person patrons to ensure seamless business operations and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer orders with precision and monitor their fulfillment to guarantee prompt delivery.
Monitor stock levels and liaise with warehouse staff to ensure accurate inventory tracking and timely replenishment.
Evaluate emerging market opportunities and cultivate a broader client portfolio.
Compile comprehensive sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to provide accurate insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Collect and analyze competitive intelligence regarding rival firms, pricing structures, and consumer preferences.
Dedicate efforts to addressing and resolving customer complaints while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of proven sales experience, ideally within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
Exceptional ability to convey ideas clearly and persuasively, coupled with adeptness in negotiating agreements and resolving conflicts to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.
Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships effectively.
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrates a strong capacity for autonomous work while consistently achieving established sales objectives.
