Overseeing the precision and integrity of financial records alongside meticulous inventory management constitutes a core responsibility, ensuring that all data remains accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with established accounting standards. This role demands a keen attention to detail to identify discrepancies, reconcile accounts, and maintain alignment between physical stock levels and system records, thereby supporting informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Responsible for managing and directing all inbound logistics, inventory storage, order picking, packaging, shipment dispatch, and return processing in strict accordance with established corporate policies and internal control guidelines.
Enforce the implementation of FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) and FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methodologies, alongside conducting cycle counts, to uphold the precision of inventory valuation.
Oversee regular weekly, monthly, and unannounced physical inventory counts to maintain precision and ensure prompt reporting of stock balances.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily cycle count reconciliations and conducting comprehensive stock takes, followed by thorough variance investigations to identify discrepancies, which must then be promptly reported to the operations manager.
Handle documentation and process transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all records maintained.
Oversee the preparation and processing of Goods Received Notes (GRNs), ensuring discrepancies are promptly reported, and inventory adjustments are made in accordance with the established approval hierarchy.
To ensure compliance with audit requirements, oversee the accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all essential logs, including access, goods receipt, dispatch, maintenance, and cycle count records.
Maintain accurate records of any damaged, expired, or slow-moving inventory to facilitate financial provisioning.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of internal controls and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Oversee and enhance warehouse operations and infrastructure to boost inventory precision and streamline overall productivity.
Maintain the precision of inventory records within the ERP system while identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Maintain unwavering integrity and perform effectively under pressure, particularly during month-end and year-end stock counts.
Collaborate with operations, sales, accounting, and other departments to drive the company’s financial goals through efficient coordination and alignment of efforts.

A recognized Nigerian or international university must confer a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
Professional certification in supply chain management or inventory management is a mandatory prerequisite for this role. Acceptable certifications include, but are not limited to, credentials such as:
A minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in warehouse or inventory management is required, including at least two years in a leadership role within Nigeria.
Highly desirable is prior experience in a luxury retail or high-value goods warehouse setting, with a strong preference for candidates well-versed in cosmetics.
Accomplished in overseeing inventory control operations, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level is a prerequisite, encompassing expertise in pivot tables, Lookups, and inventory analysis.
Proficiency in Nigerian regulatory frameworks governing warehousing operations, including compliance with provisions set forth by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), as well as adherence to standards enforced by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for cosmetics and perfumes. Additionally, expertise in customs documentation procedures specific to the importation of luxury goods is required.
Proficiency in Nigerian tax regulations governing inventory write-offs, VAT on stock, and statutory audit obligations is essential.
