Conduct a comprehensive review of daily transactions, treasury activities, and expense authorization processes to identify and mitigate potential financial discrepancies or losses.
Ensure strict compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) regulations; spearhead independent fraud investigations.
Reporting responsibilities include the development of annual audit plans that prioritize risks and the presentation of impartial findings to the Audit Committee.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting or Finance, supplemented by ACA or ARCA certification, is required.
Seeking candidates with three to five years of specialized expertise in internal audit, preferably within a Fintech enterprise, Microfinance Bank, or Lending institution.
A robust grasp of credit risk frameworks, loan management software, and regulatory compliance requirements is essential for this role.
