The Treasury Officer is responsible for evaluating, overseeing, and strategizing the optimal deployment of cash and financial resources to align with the Company’s goals. Additionally, the incumbent executes key treasury functions, including cash flow management, borrowing arrangements, reimbursement processes, and debt administration.

Establish and enforce rigorous record-keeping protocols to ensure accuracy, compliance, and accessibility of all documentation.

Gather invoices and bills, then process payments in strict adherence to Practical Action’s established financial rules and regulations.

Maintain and oversee all financial documentation, including records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Conduct all transactions in a manner that optimizes cost efficiency while maintaining the integrity of financial operations.

Ensure the company’s banking operations are managed effectively, guaranteeing that all funds are deposited promptly and accurately while maximizing efficiency and investment returns.

Ensure the company’s bank accounts comply with IFR Standards.

Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger and ensuring assigned accounts are properly cleared constitutes a key responsibility. This process involves verifying transaction accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining financial alignment between bank records and accounting entries.

Oversee the financial operations pertaining to cash handling and transactions within the organization’s financial infrastructure.

Ensures adherence to financial procedures and deadlines by diligently monitoring and following up on outstanding tasks.

Responsibilities include meticulously auditing cash transactions to confirm their accuracy and promptly investigating any irregularities that arise. Additionally, you will analyze discrepancies and recommend appropriate solutions to rectify them.

Perform any additional duties as directed by the Treasury Manager and Chief Financial Officer as needed.
