The Head of Strategy & Governance will drive the expansion of the Advisory business by analyzing client requirements, designing tailored solutions, and spearheading the implementation of strategic initiatives, governance frameworks, and transformation programs.

The position demands exceptional leadership capabilities, effective client relationship management, and the capacity to coordinate subject-matter experts and consultants across diverse projects.

Oversee a range of critical duties including strategic planning, team leadership, and project execution to ensure organizational objectives are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance operational effectiveness and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and innovation while maintaining high performance standards. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress and address any deviations from established goals. Facilitate professional development initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Serve as a primary liaison between senior management and operational units to align resources with strategic priorities.

Strategically develop and execute implementation plans for client engagements.

Execute responsibilities related to board evaluations, recruitment initiatives, and strategic planning retreats.

Offer strategic governance and advisory support tailored to the needs of boards, senior executives, and subject-matter experts.

Spearhead strategic business development efforts to grow FIT Advisory’s client base and enhance market presence.

Oversee and strategically direct the planning, execution, and delivery of projects focused on strategy, governance, and transformation.

Oversee the collaboration and coordination among subject-matter experts and consultants to uphold exceptional delivery standards.

Assist clients in navigating corporate transformation and organizational effectiveness projects to enhance business performance and operational efficiency.

Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, supported by a degree in a related field, preferably from an accredited institution. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, as well as strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering measurable results, collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams, and adapting to evolving business priorities. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is highly valued, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines efficiently.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required; a Master’s degree is advantageous.

Applicants should possess between nine and eleven years of professional experience, five of which must be in strategic roles, governance advisory, or team leadership within a Big Four firm.

Demonstrated success in directing strategy and governance initiatives, along with overseeing client relationships and account management responsibilities.

Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking, facilitation techniques, and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Skilled in cultivating advisory services and maintaining strong client connections.

Demonstrated proficiency in critical core competencies and specialized expertise areas, with a strong emphasis on technical aptitude, problem-solving acumen, and collaborative effectiveness. Requires in-depth knowledge of industry-specific tools, methodologies, and best practices, along with the ability to apply them in dynamic operational environments. Essential skills include analytical thinking, adaptability to evolving challenges, and a commitment to continuous professional development. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, quality standards, and emerging technological trends is also highly valued.

Leading corporate transformation initiatives and overseeing change management processes are essential responsibilities. This role requires the ability to drive strategic organizational shifts while ensuring smooth transitions and sustained adoption across all levels of the enterprise. Ensure alignment with overarching business objectives and market trends to inform strategic recommendations.

Design and lead engaging, purpose-driven retreats specifically tailored for boards and executive teams to foster strategic alignment, deepen relationships, and drive organizational clarity. Facilitate sessions that align with leadership objectives, enhance decision-making processes, and cultivate cohesive team dynamics. Assess client needs, customize retreat agendas, and employ interactive methodologies to ensure high-impact outcomes and measurable leadership development.

Conduct comprehensive gap analyses and diagnostic evaluations to identify discrepancies between current and desired performance metrics.

You will provide expert guidance in governance frameworks and strategic planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include advising senior leadership on policy development, risk management, and long-term vision execution while fostering stakeholder engagement and regulatory compliance. Key requirements encompass a strong background in governance structures, strategic foresight, and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for decision-makers.
