We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team in this pivotal position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key operational tasks, managing cross-functional projects, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. As a Pension Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Finance function through Continuous Improvement, aligning the advancement initiatives across Process, Data, Systems, and People—the foundational pillars of Operational Excellence.

What you’ll be doing

Handles the oversight and execution of pension administration and operational functions to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely processing of retirement benefits. Responsible for managing data integrity, maintaining system records, and generating reports to support financial and regulatory requirements. Requires a strong understanding of pension plans, regulatory compliance, and proficiency in pension administration software. Must possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Perform periodic verification of eligibility for approximately 4,200 pension recipients.

Offer comprehensive oversight of pension-related operations from initiation to completion, encompassing coordination with Pensioner Association branches nationwide.

Promptly address and process pensioner requests, inquiries, and complaints in a timely manner to ensure efficient resolution and maintain high service standards.

Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the implementation and ongoing management of a high-performing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

Oversee the ongoing maintenance and content updates of the SNCPA website to ensure its information remains current and accurate.

Facilitate the execution of annual pensioner surveys and host quarterly pensioner engagement sessions to gather insights and enhance participant involvement.

We offer technical assistance to Pensioner Associations, representing the SNCPA at meetings when necessary.

Foster robust professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, such as PEN COM, Shell HR, and Pensioner Associations, to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual support in all initiatives.

The incumbent will be tasked with managing contractual obligations and ensuring accurate reporting. This role involves overseeing the execution of contracts, maintaining compliance with terms, and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders. Proficiency in contract administration, documentation, and data analysis is essential. The position demands meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Serve as the Contract Holder for overseeing the annual calendar production and distribution, as well as managing additional service contracts designed to enhance pensioner value propositions.

Oversee vendor and contract performance to ensure compliance with CMCP standards.

Prepare and file periodic regulatory reports in compliance with PEN COM guidelines to ensure timely and accurate submission.

What you bring

A minimum of eight years of professional experience in a relevant field, coupled with a degree in Administration, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, is required; holding a postgraduate qualification is considered advantageous.

Accomplished professionals with a track record in managing Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes are required, possessing in-depth expertise in PEN COM regulations, guidelines, and circulars.

Excellent interpersonal abilities are essential, particularly the capacity to engage with and show compassion towards an elderly pensioner population while handling delicate circumstances with care and professionalism.

Experienced in applying a commercial perspective to assess supplier offerings, enhance cost-efficiency and service standards, and drive impactful outcomes through effective supplier and stakeholder collaboration.

Possesses a solid understanding of contracting methodologies, including CMCP, complemented by exceptional negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Proficient in both written and spoken English, with the capability to deliver clear and effective communication even in challenging, high-pressure, or emotionally charged environments.

Possesses exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with business partners, fostering robust relationships both internally and externally while prioritizing superior service delivery and ongoing enhancements.

Skilled in utilizing digital and IT solutions to enhance service delivery and elevate the pensioner experience.
